Mary joined ECLOF Kenya in 22nd February 2011. She brought to ECLOF Kenya her over 20 years work experience. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of ECLOF Kenya. Prior to joining ECLOF Kenya, she was the Head of Business Development Department in Faulu Microfinance Bank. She was among the team that co-founded Faulu Kenya which is today one of the big microfinance institutions in Kenya.

Mary’s career began as a civil servant with the Government of Kenyan in the then Ministry of Trade. She then moved to manufacture firm and later settled in microfinance.  Her major experience is in Microfinance, Microenterprise development and Community development

Mary holds a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance (MF Option), a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a Higher Diploma in Psychological Counseling. She is also a Certified Executive Leadership Coach from CDI-Africa Group and has undertaken some special courses which include: Corporate Governance and Effective leadership, Change management, Product Review and Market Research, Strategic Thinking, From Good to Great; Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Her passion is in leadership capacity building and institution development.
