Irshad Muttur is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Aspira (Cim Credit Kenya Ltd), which is engaged in Buy-Now-Pay-Later financing for individuals and SMEs/businesses as well as education loans. He joined Aspira in July 2018 and prior to that, he was the Head of Retail Credit and Operations at Aspira’s parent company in Mauritius, Cim Finance. With 13+ years’ international experience in financial services across Mauritius, Seychelles, Ethiopia and Kenya, he leverages on his expertise in Credit, Technology, Project Management and Strategic Management to lead and grow teams, develop products and systems, and sustain good governance. Irshad is passionate about Financial Inclusion and Human Development, having led several projects in Kenya and Mauritius. He holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management with specialization in Information Technology. Although born in Mauritius, he can be described as a Kenyan at heart.
